Abbie Cornish was born 1982. Cornish is most well-known for her roles in films including Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). For the latter Cornish won her first Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many others, was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin chose to act because her parents supported and believed in her. Fordham College, where Gilpin was studying to develop her craft, was the college that she decided to go to. Gilpin was still auditioning for television and film roles while performing in Off Broadway plays. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed it up with smaller roles in Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin kept landing mostly TV guest appearances over the next couple of years, before getting her first break, in 2013, when she was offered the part of Nurse Jackie. The character of she played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes of the series until Nurse Jackie concluded its run in June 2015. Gilpin starred in True Story (2015) the subsequent year.
