April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started the guitar and piano lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited the interest of her. When April was 12 when she wrote her first single called Different. At 14 old, she spent the majority of her time making song concepts as well as perfecting the song. In the following months, April started going in NY and LA together with her father to help them to write songs. April started to include other subjects in her book Take My Hand to help those of her peers who struggled with disabilities, peer pressure or suicide. Lockhart has her own following and works as a lifestyle blogger with the popular Ilia clean beauty brand. She was born without a left hand and that is what makes her different. But this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't shy away from her status as disabled and does not make a point of it. What message is it sending? There is more to us than our physical selves. Our identities are complicated and we contain many different aspects. I do not want this to determine me. I do not intend to become an influencer in which I only discuss because there are so many other aspects to me. Lockhart states in video form from her residence in Nashville. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my everyday life. All is well and I have learned to adapt. The same is true for me, and I believe it should be discussed. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women with regards to self-acceptance. Still she admits she's gone through periods of being uncomfortable with her body at times being unsure about wearing particular types of clothes showing how much of her body. She wears whatever she wants and proudly posts pictures of herself dressed in outfits she wears on social media. Self-love, according to her, is a kind of journey. "I don't think you'll be in that place," she said. This is a process, and I'm not sure you'll ever arrive. I believe having friends around you who really understand you and can see the depths of your soul is vital because they'll be the people who remind you What are you concerned about?
